Occasionally we will have only one service, for example, on Palm Sunday at 9 AM, when the choir presents its annual cantata, or the Sunday after Christmas when we traditionally have a Carol Sing.
Always check our home page and calendar for the current week's schedule.
WHAT DO I DO IF I WAKE UP TO BAD WEATHER ON A SUNDAY MORNING?
Though we would love to see you in church, please use common sense in making your decision to come. You may be able to get here but have difficulty going home. When in doubt, stay home.
If you are not sure then call your Deacon no earlier than 8 a.m. If you can’t reach your Deacon then call any Deacon. . (Lydia Cleis 492-1711, Steve Douple 653-6337,Val Dunn 898-2959, Nancy Ehrhart 492-9748, Kristi Elkner 426-1594, Missy Foltz 653-0642, Steve Landis 665-5236, Kirk Luther 368-3360, Frances Mateer 665-4246, John Nissley 426-3366, and Dianna Wills 426-3131)
The decision whether or not to cancel or postpone worship is made by Pastor McKinnon or in his absence, by the Clerk of Session. This is usually done before 7 a.m. The unavailability of television airtime and recent radio reception at that early hour has led us to the above suggestions.
The home page for this website will be updated as soon as possible after the decision is made to cancel. We are working on establishing an opt-in method of receiving text messages and email messages, as well.
Another tip, if you call the church at 653-1943, and no one answers by 8:30 a.m., your instincts are probably correct.
