DONEGAL OUTREACH PROGRAMS
Donegal Outreach Programs are those which extend fellowship and/or assitance to members of our local community. Some cross-over with Missions is inevitable, as some programs are designed to share the reality that the needs of those living in poverty or in shelters, in pain or in fear, are as keenly felt in our own community as they are in Third World countries.Donegal Outreach Team Events – Save the Date(s)!
The Donegal Outreach Team (DOT) is planning two events that will help our outreach to the community as well as giving us all an opportunity to be involved. We ask you to mark your calendars now so that you can join in the events! Here are the details:
October 13 – Harvest Day at Donegal Church. Once again, we’ll be having a day of food, fun, and activities to share all the goodness that God has given us and all the goodness that is Donegal Presbyterian Church.
More details will be coming as the events draw closer. There will likely be a sign-up sheet for the Columbia Shelter event put out in June, so look for that in the Communication Center. We hope you can be a part of these exciting outreach activities!
This Website
This website is a large part of our Donegal Outreach philosophy. We believe in sharing who we are, what we believe, and what we do. In fact, it has been a part of our outreach since 2002, thanks to the diligent work of Scott Mickievicz, who gave much time and effort to our original site that gave us good service for many years. In fact, Scott very generously continues to fund the annual costs for domain registration and hosting of the site, and for that we say "A bhuíochas Céad Míle!" (A Hundred Thousand Thanks!)
