Nursery Guideline & Update
The Donegal Nursery is for the benefit of members and guests of Donegal
Presbyterian Church. The nursery is open Sundays from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
The temporary site for the nursery is located in the Hope House. Once
construction is completed, the Nursery will return to its original location in
the education building.
Please note the following Nursery policies:
1. Children up to age 5 or those still in preschool are permitted in the
nursery during church services. Children of Kindergarten age or older should
attend church services with their parents or guardians.
2. Children’s Worship Workshop (for 4-6 year olds during 1st service) is
offered every other Sunday. Children can attend the service with their
parents/guardians and will be dismissed for Children’s Worship Workshop after
the Pastor’s “A Time For Children” for the remainder of the service.
Parents/guardians are responsible to pick up their children at the Hope House
after the church service. When Children’s Worship Workshop is not offered,
children of Kindergarten age and older will stay for the entire church service
with their parents/guardians.
3. A paid nursery caregiver is on duty from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 12:30
p.m. each Sunday. One volunteer caregiver from the congregation is also
required to staff the nursery during this time. Volunteer caregivers must
fill out the required criminal and child abuse background check forms and be
cleared before they may supervise children in the nursery. Application forms
are available in a folder in the back of the church. If you wish, you can be
reimbursed for any expenses incurred in processing these forms (currently
$20.00).
4. A child information sheet and permission form must be completed before a
child may stay on the nursery. These forms are available in the nursery.
5. Please contact Deacons Tina Enck (492-1928) or Matt Randolph (361-2754)
with any questions.
