LOOKING AHEAD

We will observe the beginning of Lent, Ash Wednesday, February 18, 6:15-7:30 p.m., in Fellowship Hall. This is a potluck affair but we need to know how many will attend because of the logistics involved in the Agape Dinner, which recalls the meals Jesus shared with people during his ministry. Following the dinner Tom McKinnon will begin a 5-week series, which will continue on Sunday evenings, 5:30-7:00 p.m., ending on March 15. TOPIC: “24 Hours That Changed the World”, by the Rev. Adam Hamilton. We will look at the geographical and historical settings in and around Jerusalem and reflect theologically on Jesus’ last 24 hours. Ash Wednesday will begin with the Last Supper. Lenten devotionals will be handed out each week. Please bring your own place settings, utensils, and mugs. (We do have paper plates, etc. if you forget). Sign-up sheets are in the Communication Center and Fellowship Hall. Childcare provided.

NEW NOTIFICATION SYSTEM IN PLACE

As of March 1, we will be using a program called Robo Call to reach out to all phone numbers associated with Donegal Church. The system will call you up to 5 times until it makes a connection with your or your answering machine, It will show up on your CALLER-ID display as "CALLING POST" and will usually be the voice of the Pastor, or the Clerk of Sesson. No call will be longer than 30-seconds.

MISSION TOUR 2014 VIDEO

For those who couldn't attend the potluck supper and to see the Mission Tour 2014 Summary Video, click on this link and enjoy random video images and interviews from the week-long trip to "the North Country." If you need an explanation when you are done, ask film auteur David Labagh. His mind works differently than the rest of us!

TIME TO THINK ABOUT SOFTBALL
